TWRC Tasmania

About Us

The Tasmania Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (TWRC) is the peak body for wildlife rehabilitation in Tasmania.

Our Mission

TWRC works to promote high standards of wildlife care across the state, providing support, education, and advocacy for those dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of Tasmania's unique native fauna.

What We Do

We provide a network for wildlife carers to share their expertise, participate in workshops, and ensure that rehabilitation practices are consistent with state regulations and welfare standards.

Supporting Carers

Through our webinar series and workshops, we offer training opportunities to ensure all carers are equipped with the latest knowledge in bird care, small mammal rescue, and mental health support.
